Medics, teacher and two senior citizens receive COVID-19 vaccine on first day of vaccination campaign

Bishkek, March 30, 2021 / Kabar /. Head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan Ainura Akmatova today at a briefing told who was the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

She said that at the moment vaccination is being carried out in Bishkek, in the city of Osh and in Chui Oblast. 100 people were inoculated on Monday with Chinese vaccine. Among them, 40 people received the vaccine in the capital. Of these, 1 teacher, 1 person over 65 years old and medical workers. There are 30 people in Chui Oblast, who received the vaccine. Of these, 1 citizen is over 65 years old and medical workers. There are 28 doctors in the city of Osh.

“The minister of health was the first to receive the vaccine. Today his condition is satisfactory. The condition of the rest of the vaccinated is also satisfactory,” she said.

Akmatova noted that all patients filled out a consent information sheet, received a vaccination memo, etc. All data on the vaccinated will be entered into an electronic database.
