Bishkek, April 21, 2022. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s Meerim Dzhumanazarova advanced to the Asian Women's Wrestling Championships, which is taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on April 19-24.
The Kyrgyzstani, competing in the weight category up to 68 kg, defeated in the semi-final Delgerma Enksaihan of Mongolia with 7:2.
Earlier, Zhumanazarova took victory over Korea's Sujin Pak and Kazakhstan's Madina Bakbergenova.
On the results of the Asian Championship, Kyrgyzstan has 6 medals: 3 of them are gold (Akzhol Makhmudov, Tynar Sharshenbekov, Zholaman Sharshenbekov), and 3 bronze (Roman Kim, Adilkhan Nurlanbekov and Uzur Zhusupbekov).
A total of 21 national wrestlers represent Kyrgyzstan at the international sporting event in Mongolia.
