Meeting of Arab Coordination Group kicks off in Cholpon-Ata

Bishkek, Aug. 3, 2022 /Kabar/. The Fourth Meeting of the Arab Coordination Group (ACG) started its work in Cholpon-Ata town, Issyk-Kul Oblast.

The event is devoted to the strengthening and development of relations between representatives of ACG and the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the moment, this round table is working on attracting financial support for 13 projects.

If the presented infrastructure projects are supported, the funds raised will be directed to such areas as:

- mortgage lending;

- transport;

- healthcare;

- irrigation;

- education;

- communications sphere.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic places great emphasis on the outcome of the Fourth Round Table and expresses its great hope for the support of our colleagues and partners from the countries of the Near and Middle East. I very much hope that we will continue to support this dynamic of cooperation and continue the tradition of organizing such events," said First Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet Adylbek Kasymaliev, opening the meeting.
