Osh, July 3, 2019 /Kabar/. The meeting of the Coordinating Council on combating trafficking in human beings was held yesterday, July 2 in Osh.
Deputy Mayor of Osh Nurbel Kadyrov, law enforcement officers, representatives of social services, public funds and non-governmental organizations participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the results of the Council’ work done for the six month of 2019, as well as the harmonization of further actions for the remaining period were discussed.
“The main task is preventive work with the population. The action plan of the Council will include training for specialists of each municipal management so that they can provide correct legal advice to citizens travelling abroad. Information desks and stands with relevant information will be set up,” the deputy mayor said.
Training sessions for all social workers of schools, state and municipal employees will be held in schools and universities.
In addition, informational work on combating trafficking in human beings will be through social advertisements among the population. The 100 days against human trafficking campaign is planned for the second half of 2019.
