Meeting of Kyrgyz Security Council kicks off under chairmanship of President Jeenbekov

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Sept. 17 President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov is holding a meeting of the Security Council with the participation of heads of state bodies, his press service said.

The meeting will consider two issues - summing up the work of law enforcement agencies to combat corruption in the republic, as well as the draft of a new State Strategy for 2021-2024 to combat corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic and eliminate its causes.

Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Orozbek Opumbayev, Prosecutor General Otkurbek Dzhashmitov and Chairman of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes Bakir Taiyrov will reports on the first issue.

Secretary of the Security Council Damir Sagynbayev will present the draft State Strategy to Combat Corruption.
