Ashgabat, Oct.11, 2019. /Kabar/. As part of participation in the regular meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), Kyrgyzstan’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
Topical issues and priority areas between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan were discussed during the meeting of the two leaders.
Jeenbekov congratulated Berdimuhamedow on the successful completion of chairmanship in CIS.
The Presidents expressed mutual readiness and outlined joint plans for the near future to intensify bilateral cooperation.
They also expressed interest in expanding trade, economic and cultural-humanitarian relations between the two countries.
