Osh, Nov. 6, 2018. /Kabar/. A meeting was held between representatives of the security forces and leaders of Batken and Fergana oblasts in the Uzbek city of Vadil on Monday, the press service of the relevant authority of Batken oblast reported.
The delegation of Batken oblast headed by First Deputy Governor Alisher Abdrakhmanov met with the heads and representatives of the security agencies of Fergana oblast.
The delegation from Batken oblast included akims of Batken and Kadamzhai regions, the mayor of the city of Kyzyl-Kiya, the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Batken oblast, the head of the border service in Batken oblast and other local officials.
During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation to strengthen friendship between the states. In particular, those present discussed issues of simplifying the passage of people through the checkpoints of the two countries, improving economic and trade relations, and improving cultural ties.
In addition, the sides came to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop cooperation of law enforcement agencies to prevent crimes and assist in their disclosure.
At the end of the meeting, minutes were drawn up and signed by the sides.
