Bishkek, Oct.9, 2019. /Kabar/. The next meeting of the Moldovan-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Commission is planned to be organized in Chisinau, Ambassador of Moldova to Kyrgyzstan Andrei Neguța said after the ceremony of presenting his credentials to Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
The ambassador said he informed President Jeenbekov about the cooperation between the two countries through the parliament.
“I plan to meet with Mr. Pirmatov (the member of the Kyrgyz Parliament) today to discuss the prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary relations. I have sent a note to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry saying that we propose to hold inter-ministerial consultations in Chisinau in the near future. Yesterday I had a meeting with Minister of Agriculture Mr. Choduyev, where we discussed the development of bilateral relations in this sector,” Neguța said.
The ambassador also added that it is planned to approve the composition of the Intergovernmental Commission.
“The last meeting of the Commission was held in Bishkek in 2004. We will now prepare a plan and agenda for this event to be held in Chisinau,” he said.
