Bishkek, Feb.4, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev met with Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board Mikhail Myasnikovich, the press service of the Government reported.
The EEC Board head has arrived in Bishkek on Tuesday for his first official foreign visit at the invitation of PM Abylgaziev.
During the meeting, the prime minister wished Myasnikovich success in his new position, expressing confidence that his business and personal qualities will allow ensuring an efficient organization of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and creating all the necessary conditions to consistently address the tasks, aimed at the dynamic development of the integration process.
The meeting also discussed the key areas of current activities of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the main priorities for further development of the integration association.
Abylgaziev paid special attention to the issues of qualitative implementation of approaches to eliminating existing barriers in the EAEU market.
In addition, the sides discussed issues on strengthening the supranational competence of the EEC, as well as the draft document defining strategic directions for the development of the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025.
EEC Board Chairman Mikhail Myasnikovich has already met with Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov and Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
