Meeting of President Zhaparov with reps of business community

Bishkek, June 23, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met on Wednesday with representatives of the business community of the country.

During the event, Minister of Investment of Kyrgyzstan Almambet Shykmamatov made a presentation on investment projects in energy, agriculture and others, and talked about what conditions the Cabinet of Ministers of the country creates for business and a favorable investment climate.

In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Economy and Finance Akylbek Zhparov spoke about effective tools to stimulate economic development of the country and economic reforms.

In his speech, President Zhaparov thanked all entrepreneurs who make a great contribution to the development of the country, noting that they make up almost 85% of the domestic economy.

Outlining the priority tasks for the country's economic growth, the Kyrgyz leader stressed the state's interference in the economy would be reduced and every effort would be made to create a favorable and fair environment for business.

Further, the meeting continued in the question and answer format with discussion of the pressing problems and initiatives of the business community.

Entrepreneurs were interested in issues related to the development of tourism, pharmaceuticals, the energy sector, agriculture, regional support, etc.

The event was attended by representatives of businesses, companies and organizations represented in various fields, including those from regions of the country.
