Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met on Thursday with representatives of the large Russian business on the platform of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Moscow, his press service reported.
The head of state addressed the event participants, spoke about promising economic projects in Kyrgyzstan and urged potential investors to active cooperation.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted topical directions for development of cooperation, drew attention to plans for improvement of favorable climate for bona fide investors, etc.
The meeting was held in a "question-and-answer" format.
The Kyrgyz president, ministers and heads of state bodies of the country answered the questions of representatives of Russian business.
About 40 leaders of major Russian companies, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Renova Group", member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Development of the Center for Research and Commercialization of New Technologies "Skolkovo", Chairman of the Board of Trustees of "Skoltech" (Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology) Viktor Vekselberg, Deputy CEO of Russian Railways JSC Vyacheslav Pavlovsky, Deputy CEO for International Business of Gasprom PAO Pavel Oderov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on International Cooperation in the Electric Power Industry and President of Artpol Holding Sergey Shmatko, Executive Director of EAEU Business Council Stanislav Naumov, Chairman of the Committee on Digital Economy, President of Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky, as well as representatives of PJSC FosAgro, PJSC VimpelCom, Hyundai Motor CIS, PJSC Severstal, the Union of Potato and Vegetable Market Participants, the Board of the EAEU Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and other leaders of the oil, banking, industrial, construction, chemical, energy, food, engineering and textile industries took part in the meeting.
