Meeting of presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey

Ankara, Apr. 10, 2018 / Kabar /. Bilateral talks were held between Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During meetings in a narrow and enlarged composition, the two presidents noted the possibility of increasing trade between the two states. Today, according to official data, the trade turnover between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan is about $ 400 million. But the sides said that that the achieved indicator does not reflect the full potential of cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic sphere. In this regard, in the near future, the goal is to increase it up to $ 1 billion.

In addition, the presidents discussed issues on increasing investment in Kyrgyzstan and enhancing cooperation in the field of agriculture, as well as in the mining sector.
