Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2022. /Kabar/. A trilateral meeting of presidents of Kyrgyzstan - Sadyr Zhaparov, Russia - Vladimir Putin and Tajikistan - Emomali Rahmon took place today in Astana (Kazakhstan).
Topical issues on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border were discussed, the press service of the Kyrgyz presidentreported.
Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude to Vladimir Putin for the initiative to hold this joint meeting and confidentially discuss the existing problematic issues, as well as for his readiness to assist in matters of the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The head of state dwelled in detail on the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
He stressed that the Kyrgyz side adheres to the unchanged position on the need to resolve disputed issues exclusively by peaceful means and political and diplomatic methods, recalling the consequences of the armed aggression of the Tajik side.
Sadyr Zhaparov also noted that Kyrgyzstan is set for mutually beneficial and speedy completion of the formation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, which will become a guarantor of stability and good neighborliness.
