Meetings of IPA CIS kick off in Bishkek

Bishkek, Nov. 16, 2023. / Kabar/. Meetings of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) began in Bishkek.

Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev met the heads of the CIS parliaments at the Ala-Archa state residence.

Thus, chairmen of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbaev, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan TanzilyaNarbaeva, the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova, Milli Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali and Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan arrived to participate in the regular meetings of the autumn session of the IPA CIS.

First, the heads of parliaments will take part in a meeting of the CIS IPA Council and discuss issues on the agenda.
