Bishkek, March 18, 2020. / Kabar /. MegaCom cellular company of Kyrgyzsta, as a socially responsible organization, will provide medical institutions with free mobile communications and Internet access in connection with the current situation of the spread of coronavirus in the country.
MegaCom or Alfa Telecom CJSC was one of the first to respond to the disturbing news that three natives of Suzak region of Jalal-Abad Oblast who returned to the country from Saudi Arabia on March 12 of this year were diagnosed with coronavirus. In this connection, the management of MegaCom decided to provide support to medical workers involved in assisting the population during the period of complication of the epidemiological situation.
“The experience of countries where cases of coronavirus were previously diagnosed show a significant increase in the burden on medical personnel. We realize how important it is in this situation to provide physicians with quality communication. Therefore, the management of MegaCom decided to assist the medical staff and provide the opportunity to always stay in touch and coordinate actions in an on-line mode,” commented Akylbek Zhamangulov, Director General of Alfa Telecom CJSC.
MegaCom will distribute SIM cards with the “Super Profitable 345” tariff to medical workers. Part of the SIM-cards will be transferred to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
