Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2019. /Kabar/. In Bishkek, a member of the organized criminal group was detained for stealing a phone, the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek reported.
In January a resident of the capital went to a militia station where he asked to take action against people who had stolen a cell phone worth more than 15 thousand soms from a jacket pocket in one of the shopping centers.
This fact was registered in the Single Register of Crimes and Offenses.
Then a suspect was detained – 30-year-old K. B. The figure was repeatedly prosecuted for similar and other crimes. The department noted that he is also on the operational-preventive record of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic as a member of the organized criminal group.
The court in relation to the suspect selected a preventive measure in the form of placement in detention unit-1.
The militia calls on citizens and guests of the capital to be vigilant and take the necessary measures to preserve their personal property. Thefts are usually committed in crowded places.
