Bishkek, July 12, 2021. / Kabar /. The delegation of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan as part of the CIS Mission took part as international observers in the early parliamentary elections of Moldova, the press service of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

The chairman of the CEC of Moldova, Dorin Chimil, at a briefing after the closure of the polling stations, said that the early parliamentary elections were held without significant violations.

“The elections were held in a normal manner, without serious violations that could affect the voting results,” he said.

The processing of ballots has not yet been officially completed, however, according to preliminary data, the PDS may receive 60-61 out of 101 seats in parliament and will be able to independently form a government. This will happen due to the proportional redistribution of the votes of the parties that did not overcome the 5% threshold for entry into parliament.

The results of the voting must be confirmed by the Constitutional Court of the country.
