Bishkek, April 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov planted trees on the territory of the Specialized Rehabilitation Center for Children and Family in Bishkek within the international campaign “Memory Garden”, dedicated to the 76 th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
The press service of the Kyrgyz president reported that the planting took place as part of Zhaparov’s visit to the Rehabilitation Center.
The Kyrgyz leader together with the staff of the institution planted apple-trees and noted the special historical significance of the Great Victory, which influenced the course of world history.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that today's event is being held in order to pay tribute to the ancestors who fell on the battlefields, toilers of the home front and all those who brought the victory to ensure a bright future for their descendants.
The president urged leaders and employees of all government agencies, local authorities and ordinary citizens of the country to take part in this action, to pay tribute and respect to their ancestors, and to contribute to the landscaping of areas in their regions.
