Bishkek, March 14, 2024. /Kabar/. In January 2024, the volume of remittances to Kyrgyzstan amounted to USD 259 million, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to data of the bank, USD 244.6 million of this came from CIS countries, and USD 14.6 million from non-CIS countries.
The largest number of transfers were made from Russia - USD 244.1 million, from Kazakhstan - USD 200 thousand, from other countries - USD 200 thousand.
The report said that the volume of remittances from the country amounted to USD 54.6 million, of which to the CIS countries - USD 53.5 million (to Russia USD 52.8 million, to Kazakhstan USD 300 thousand and other countries USD 300 thousand , to non-CIS countries – USD 2.9 million).
