Military prosecutor of Kyrgyzstan discusses exchange of experience with colleague from Russia

The Military Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek received a delegation of the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation headed by the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation - Chief Military Prosecutor State Counselor of Justice 1st Class V. Petrov, the press service of the Prosecutor's Office said.

During the working visit, the sides discussed the mutual exchange of experience in ensuring law and order in the Armed Forces, the effective prevention of corruption encroachments on military property and budget allocations, problems in the investigation of corruption-related crimes committed in the military sphere, the prevention of military crimes.

In addition, Petrov visited the Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, where, with the participation of Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, Lieutenant General Bekbolotov and relatives of Lieutenant General Usenbekov, he laid a wreath on the bust of Usenbekov and handed over copies of the archival file of Usenbekov.

Following the meeting, the colleagues confirmed their readiness to continue joint efforts to further expand cooperation between the military prosecutor's offices of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation in the legal system, the report said.
