Bishkek, Nov. 18, 2021 . / Kabar / . In January-October 2021, milk production in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 1472.3 thousand tons, which is 27.8 thousand tons, or 1.9% more than in the corresponding period last year.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reported that milk production has increased in all regions of the republic.
Growth in milk production in the country is due to increase of number of cows by 19.7 thousand heads and the average milk yield per cow by 3.1 kg.
