Osh, Aug. 20, 2021. / Kabar /. The mini-hydroelectric power station will be built on the Nichke-Sai river in the village of Too-Kyzyl-Suu in Kyrgyzstan's Jalal-Abad Oblast. This became known during the meeting of the Jalal-Abad mayor with the local population of the village of Too-Kyzyl-Suu.
At the meeting, public hearings were held with the participation of villagers, officials led by Mayor Ernisbek Ormokov and a representative of the Energy construction company, which plans to build small hydroelectric power plants. At the meeting, local residents unanimously agreed to build a small hydroelectric power plant.
The representative of the company Uzakbay Mamatkulov said that a small hydroelectric power station in Nichke-Sai will generate 10 million kWh of electricity per year, and construction will begin in 2022 and end in 2023. The construction of the mini-hydroelectric power station will cost USD 3.5 million, financing will be provided by foreign investors.
With the commissioning of a small hydroelectric power station in the village of Too-Kyzyl-Suu, 10 local residents will be provided with permanent jobs, and about 800 thousand soms will be transferred annually in the local budget as social contributions.
