Minister Isakov meets with WB country manager for Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Nov.1, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Isakov met with World Banks’ Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic Bolormaa Amgaabazar.

The sides discussed the World Bank's readiness to support the 2021-2030 Education Development Strategy, which defines the priorities of digitalization and computerization, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education said.

This involves increasing the effectiveness of teachers through digital resources.

Minister Isakov noted the need to improve the quality of knowledge of students and teachers.

The issue of creation of 500 pre-school organizations of daytime stay in rural areas in order to expand the access to pre-school education was also discussed at the meeting.
