Minister Jamankulov takes part in Forum of Ministers of Culture in Paris

Bishkek, Nov.20, 2019 /Kabar/. 40th Session of the UNESCO General Conference is taking place in Paris on Nov. 12-27, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan said.

Within the framework of the UNESCO General Conference, the Forum of Ministers of Culture was held. More than 100 culture ministers met at UNESCO Headquarters, making it the largest meeting of its kind over the past 25 years.

The Forum is attended by Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic Azamat Jamankulov.

The ministers discussed the role of culture in solving modern problems in the field of economy, social cohesion, sustainable development, environmental protection, education, skills and youth employment.
