Bishkek, March 12, 2022. / Kabar /. Minister of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, Askarbek Dzhanybekov, during a press conference in Bishkek told what products Kyrgyzstan imports and from where.
Thus, our country imports wheat seeds from Russia and Kazakhstan, eggs from Russia and Kazakhstan;
poultry meat from Kazakhstan, Russia, USA, China, Belarus, Ukraine and Canada;
vegetable oil - from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia, fish - from Russia.
Dzhanybekov noted that the fishing industry has been actively developing in our country in recent years, so the number of fish farms is growing every year and the ministry supports this initiative.
“As for the temporary ban on the export of a number of products from the Russian Federation within the framework of the EAEU, we do not see any concerns. There is no need to look for other sources of export yet,” the minister said.
