Minister of Emergencies is on working trip to Naryn Oblast

Bishkek, May 20, 2020 / Kabar/. Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Zamirbek Askarov is on a working trip to Naryn Oblastn, the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies said.

The purpose of the working trip is to inspect potentially hazardous areas in the oblast, familiarize with the progress of preventive measures and make appropriate decisions. Representatives of local authorities, representatives of state bodies and heads of departments, departments of the Ministry of Emergencies take part in a working trip.

At first, Zamirbek Askarov examined the sanitary-quarantine point at the entrance to Kochkor region. Then the minister visited the village of Tendik. In this village, 115 residential buildings are subject to the threat of a seasonal rise in groundwater levels. On the spot, the minister met with the local population, listened to problematic issues regarding raising the groundwater level, and discussed the reconstruction of collector-drainage systems.

“We must solve this issue in a comprehensive way. It is necessary to monitor this area as part of a commission to prepare a project for cleaning the drainage. Let the water agencies of the state allocate equipment, we will allocate fuels and lubricants," the minister said.
