Minister of Health meets with mission of consultants of the German Development Bank

Bishkek, March 27 / Kabar /. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Batyraliev met today with the mission of consultants of the German Development Bank (KFW) consisting of Pr. Konrad Obermann, Pr. Bernd Glazinsky and Ms Tatiana Gehrig.

The press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that the purpose of the visit is the execution of the technical task "Assessment of needs to support the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of perinatal health protection, that is, to assess the current potential of the Ministry of Health in this area and develop proposals and recommendations for its improvement.

Pr. Konrad Obermann and Pr. Bernd Glazinski will be in Bishkek from March 27 till March 31, and Ms. Tatyana Gerig will meet with the staff of regional medical and preventive organizations on April 3-7, the press service said.

During the meeting with the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the German Development Bank said that they will continue to closely cooperate with the Ministry of Health in providing assistance in the field of perinatal health protection.

"We thank you for your assistance in the field of perinatal health. Because the protection of motherhood and childhood is a priority in the work of the Ministry of Health," Batyraliev said.
