Bishkek, Dec. 29, 2020. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan is working on three main directions, Minister Tilek Toktogaziyev told during a press conference on Tuesday.
Thus, the first direction is the consolidation of farmers, which aims to solve the problems of small-scale commodity production, development of cooperatives and associations.
"For example, a dairy cooperative has been created, and work is also underway to create a livestock association," he said.
The second, according to Toktogaziyev, is the digitalization of all processes in the ministry, data must be managed, used and analyzed.
"We are at the finish line on electronic document management in the ministry, so that there are no unnecessary expenses for paper. Also, we are working to provide a lot of online services,” the minister added.
Another direction is the development of the processing industry - the development of financial instruments for farmers from growing raw materials to export.
