Ministers of internal affairs of CIS countries meet in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 8, 2022 / Kabar /. A regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states was held in Cholpon-Ata town of Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov, Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Vilayat Eyvazov, Chief of Police of Armenia Vahe Ghazaryan, Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Ivan Kubrakov, Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov, Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Minister of Internal Affairs Affairs of Uzbekistan Pulat Bobozhonov, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Abdurakhmon Alamshozoda, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Shadurdy Meredov, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Leonid Anfimov, Director of the Bureau for Coordinating the Fight against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes in the territory of the CIS member states Oleg Konovalov.

The participants considered a wide range of issues on the adoption of joint measures in the fight against crime, including the situation with crime in the Commonwealth states, the implementation of interstate programs to combat especially dangerous crimes - drug trafficking, arms trafficking, the fight against transnational criminal groups, terrorism and extremism.

The issues of interaction between the internal affairs bodies of the CIS countries in combating cybercrime, searching for especially dangerous criminals, illegal trafficking in new psychoactive, psychotropic and narcotic substances are considered.

As a result of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS Member States (CMIA CIS), the relevant Decisions were signed.
