Bishkek, Feb. 14, 2019. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic believes that work over the past year has been done at a good level, State Secretary of the Ministry Maksatbek Tashbolotov told during a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.
He said that gross output indicators are growing annually.
“In 2016-2017, we carried out work in the field of agriculture – provided 2.2% gross output in the field of agriculture, in 2018 – by 2.7% or 203 billion soms. All this is thanks to the support of the state,” the secretary said.
He further noted that since 2011, projects on financing agriculture have been developed and implemented annually. Thus, 6 business ideas have already been realized.
“According to the results of 2018, preferential loans were issued from 6% to 10%, 11 thousand 300 goods of rural production worth 5 billion 6 million soms,” Tashbolotov said.
In addition, last year 235 units of special equipment were issued to farmers. In addition, money for their repairs are being allocated.
