Bishkek, Aug. 21, 2020 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan in preparation for the organization of distance learning in 2020-21 academic year is conducting a series of training webinars for universities and colleges, the press service of the ministry reported.
The webinars are held by the Advisory Board, which was created to provide methodological assistance to the teaching staff of universities and colleges in organizing training sessions in a distance format, as well as to improve the qualifications of teachers in the use of distance learning technologies.
The Advisory Board held training seminars for university and college faculty on Aug.17-19.
Later, it conducted webinars for teachers on the skills of working with electronic platforms (choosing the optimal training platform, taking into account the specifics of disciplines, specialization, the use of interactive technologies in distance learning).
The Advisory Board also developed 3 methodological recommendations in Kyrgyz and Russian languages.
The Ministry of Education and Science notes that the online start of the school year is organized taking into account the epidemiological situation, in order to minimize the risks of the spread of coronavirus infection.
