Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2018 / Kabar /. In 2019, industry growth is projected at 3.2%, and in 2020 at 5.1%, reads the draft law on the republican budget for 2018-2020.
It is specified that earlier industry growth was projected at 5.3% in 2019, 8.7% in 2020.
In industry without Kumtor growth in 2019–2020 is projected at 8.8%, 5.9%, respectively, against the approved 6.2% and 7.8%.
In 2019-2020, the agriculture is expected to slow down to 2.7%, 3.0%, respectively, against the previously approved growth of 3.0%, 3.0%, respectively. In animal husbandry, growth is expected to be at the level of 2.7% and 2.8%, respectively, against the previously approved growth of 2.9% and 3.0%, respectively.
The growth rate in the service sector in 2019-2020 is expected to be at the level of 3.7%, 3.9%, respectively, against the previously approved growth of 4.1%, 3.8%, respectively, due to a slowdown in growth rates:
- services of wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair up to 5.5%, 5.6%, respectively, against the previously approved growth of 7.2%, 6.4%, respectively;
- hotel and restaurant services up to 8.5%, 8.0%, respectively, against the previously approved growth of 9.6%, 8.2%, respectively;
Growth in transportation and cargo storage services is projected at 6.2%, 6.0%, respectively, against previously approved growth of 2.9%, 2.4%, respectively.
Construction growth in 2019-2020 is expected to be at the level of 11.6%, 8.7%, respectively, against the previously approved growth of 10.8%, and 10.1%, respectively.
