Bishkek, Feb.1, 2020./Kabar/. As of Feb.1, 2020 there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the country's Health Ministry said Saturday.
From Jan. 28. to Feb. 1 this year, a total of 196 people arrived from China, including 182 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, 13 citizens of China and 1 from other countries.
All of them have undergone appropriate medical procedures with the help of a thermoscanner (thermal imaging camera), among them there are no persons with signs of disease.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, to date 3 persons are under the supervision of doctors of the Sokuluk region territorial hospital, there are 4 patients in a hospital under the State Committee on Defense in the village of Besh-Kungoi, the condition of all of them assessed as satisfactory.
The rest 189, according to the decision of the operational headquarters, established in Kyrgyzstan to control the situation with coronavirus spread, are released for further medical supervision at their place of residence.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) as of Feb.1, 2020 9,826 worldwide cases of coronavirus have been confirmed.
9,720 (98.9%) in China, including 213 (2.2%) fatalities.
106 (1.1%) cases of coronavirus infection were registered in 19 countries. The first confirmed cases were registered in Finland, India and the Philippines, Japan, Germany, Italy, South Korea, all of them in anamnesis had a trip to Wuhan, China.
