Bishkek, April 6, 2021. / Kabar /. The head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health and Social Development Ainura Akmatova today at a press conference at Kabar Agency, spoke about the increase in the incidence of COVID-19 with the arrival of spring.
She noted that the increase in the incidence of any virus or infection, in this case, coronavirus, depends on how intensive the movement of a person around the country, within the region.
“Yes, warm times have come and all citizens rushed to celebrate holidays, attend cultural events and public places. All this is the reason for the increase in the incidence. At the same time, many have already ceased to comply with sanitary standards and wear masks. And, of course, internal migration. This cannot be ruled out. This is also one of the reasons for the increase in morbidity. Because people come from the regions to the capital and Chui Oblast to visit, on business, and if they get sick, they go to their place of stay. Therefore, in the statistics, there are always more cases in Bishkek and in Chui oblast,” Akmatova said.
One of the main reasons for the spread and growth of patients with coronavirus is non-compliance with sanitary measures.
