Bishkek, March 22, 2023. /Kabar/. There is no shortage of jobs in Kyrgyzstan, but there is a shortage of workers, the country’s Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration Kudaibergen Bazarbayev told during a workshop.

“President Sadyr Zhaparov pays special attention to employment issues. The Ministry of Labor has concluded an agreement with 99 vocational lyceums of the Ministry of Education system, of which 71 lyceums train specialists in 125 working professions.

Our ministry intends to actively engage in the organizational recruitment of workers for the country's enterprises. As practice shows, there is a great demand for labor in the country, but there is a shortage of specialists who are ready to work,” the minister said.

The workshop discussed new approaches that need to be introduced to promote employment at the regional level.
