Mirlan Asekov from Kyrgyzstan becomes world grappling champion

Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2018. /Kabar/. Mirlan Asekov became grappling world champion in Lithuania, mentor of the sportsman Emil Toktogonov wrote on social media.

The tournament was held in Vilnius from October 26 to October 28.

A Kyrgyz citizen competing under the pseudonym “Mongol” defeated a wrestler from Russia in the semifinals, in a fight for a champion title he was opposed by an athlete from Latvia. The rival was defeated, and Asekov got the belt.

Thus, Mirlan Asekov became two times world champion.
