Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2018. /Kabar/. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and the country on the Independence Day, the press service of the Kyrgyz President reported.
“On behalf of the multinational people of the Republic of Uzbekistan and myself I sincerely congratulate you and the brotherly nation of the Kyrgyz Republic on the national holiday of your country — the Independence Day.
Over the last years, friendly Kyrgyzstan has made significant progress in making socio-political and socio-economic changes, implementing reforms, the country’s authority has strengthened in the international arena.
Uzbekistan attaches great importance to the high level of trust and mutual understanding in the Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations, consistent expansion of the multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, reached over the past years.
I highly value the personal contacts established between us. Our informative and productive conversations, once again, demonstrated common views and similarity of visions of the two countries on the key issues of further development of interaction, as well as the regional agenda.
We, the Republic of Uzbekistan, are strongly committed to further develop and strengthen the traditional friendship, good-neighborly relations, and strategic partnership with the Kyrgyz Republic.
I am convinced that continuation of the open and constructive dialogue, consistent practical realization of the achieved arrangements will help deepen the Uzbek-Kyrgyz cooperation, based on the principles of mutual respect and support, for the benefit of our countries and nations, as well as promote peace and stability in the region”, the congratulatory message says.
Mirziyoyev wished Jeenbekov good health, family welfare, and success, while the brotherly nation of Kyrgyzstan — peace and progress.
