Bishkek, June 1, 2021 . / Kabar / . The mobile application MeteoKG, allowing to predict the weather in any pasture area in Kyrgyzstan, has appeared in Play Market and App Store, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic said.
This application is a technical addition to the system of early warning weather and dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena, developed for pasture users under the "Livestock and Market Development II” project.
The purpose of the implementation of early warning weather system is to provide farmers who graze livestock on high-altitude pastures most vulnerable to weather conditions with up-to-date and accurate information on meteorological and hydrological risks.
The system is capable of producing daily forecasts for the next 10 days regarding precipitation and temperature for each point mapped and distributing them to consumers.
"The mobile application and mobile version of the site can be used in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian and English," the report said.
