Moderate earthquake recorded in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. An earthquake of magnitude 5 was registered on the territory of Kyrgyzstan on Aug. 5 at 2:18 p.m.

According to the press service of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences, the earthquake’s tremors were felt on the territory of Batken region in the villages of Kara-Bak, Chon-Talaaa - 5 points, in Batken town and villages Bujum, Boz-Adyr - 4.5 points, in Aidarken village - 3 points.

As a result of the earthquake, there were no casualties or damage.
