Bishkek, April 22, 2021. / Kabar /. A modern data processing center will be built in Kyrgyzstan at the expense of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Director of Tunduk State Enterpise Nuria Kutnaeva told at a press conference.
She said that in 2018, the state-owned enterprise applied for a grant to the Korea International Cooperation Agency.
“In 2020, a final memorandum on the allocation of a grant was signed between the State Agency for Information Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic and Communications and KOICA, where one of the parties is the Tunduk State Enterprise. And within the framework of the project, assistance will be provided not only in the consulting part, expert support in promoting e-government, but also in the deployment of a modern data center. That was the very first goal,” she said.
Kutnaeva said that the total amount of the project is USD 5 million.
“These funds will come not in monetary terms, but in the form of equipment and expert support,” she said.
