Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov familiarized with the progress of the capital reconstruction of the former lyceum's building , which will be converted into a hospital.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, the visit took place as part of Jeenbekov’s working trip to Osh Oblast of the country.
The vocational school in Bash-Bulak village of Kara-Suu region was opened in 1964. But in 2019, the school closed due to a decrease in the number of students.
During the spread of coronavirus infection, it was decided to convert this building to an infectious disease hospital with 150 beds.
Currently, the roof of the building is completely renovated, finishing work is underway.
Also in the near future, the hospital will be connected to the e-health system.
During the conversation with the medical staff of the hospital, President Jeenbekov noted the importance of solving existing problems with modern methods, such as the implementation of digitalization.
According to him, only digital technologies will put an end to corruption, bureaucracy and the human factor, which in turn will make it possible to improve the working conditions of health workers, including by increasing their salaries.
The capital reconstruction of medical facilities in the country's regions is continuing at an accelerated pace, and new infectious disease hospitals are being built in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Naryn Oblast.
