Bishkek, June 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Bolotbek Kupeshev held a meeting with member of the Board of Trustees of the Al Maktoum Foundation Mirza Hussein Al Sayegh, the press service of the Kyrgyz Education Ministry reported on Tuesday.
The main purpose of the meeting was to establish direct contacts with the leadership of the Fund to attract investment in the educational sphere of Kyrgyzstan.
"Thus, the meeting resulted in agreement on construction of a modern educational complex in the Kyrgyz Republic with an in-depth teaching of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education (high school, library, medical center, sports facilities, dormitory for teachers, etc.),” the report said.
At the moment, the Education Ministry has determined the site for the construction of the educational complex, developed a draft and the concept of the Republican Center to support talented children "Bilim, Ilim".
The educational complex will aim at creating and improving the system of identification, support and development of students with high educational potential, as well as support for teachers of secondary schools.
The Al Maktoum Foundation implements a number of social and educational projects around the world. The key task of the Foundation is to increase the level of education in the world.
Thus, member of the Board of Directors Mirza Al Sayegh has the authority to make decisions, identify and implement assistance projects in foreign countries on behalf of the Foundation.
Mirza Al Sayegh is a trustee of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates and the founder of the Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation.
