Bishkek, June 12, 2019. /Kabar/. Opening of the Embassy of Mongolia in the Kyrgyz Republic will attach importance to cooperation between the two states, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga said during the extended format talks with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
He noted that there are historical ties between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.
“We have been developing friendly and trusting relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992. I will be very happy to participate in the opening ceremony of the Mongolian Embassy in Bishkek. And I would like to hear the good news about the opening of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in our country,” he said.
The President of Mongolia stressed that high and highest level negotiations between the two countries have become regular and noted the need to strengthen trade and economic relations.
In addition, Khaltmaagiin Battulga thanked Kyrgyzstan for being the first to support Mongolia's proposal for free trade in the Eurasian Economic Union.
