Moody's analysts visit Kyrgyzstan for annual rating of country

Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2017 /Kabar/. Analysts of Moody's Investors Service on October 18-19, visited Kyrgyzstan to determine the positions of the country for the annual world competitiveness ranking.

Moody's experts held meetings with representatives of ministries and departments, international financial institutions, commercial banks.

Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Eldar Abakirov held a meeting with analysts of moody and stressed the importance of rating for enhancing the investment attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan, presented the changes in the socio-economic situation in the country and informed about the economic reforms conducted in the country over the last year.

In March 2015, the Ministry of Economy signed an agreement with Moody's Investors Service rating agency. In December 2016, the agency confirmed the rating of Kyrgyzstan at the level of B2 with forecast "stable".
