More than 150 cyclists take part in 25 km cycle race

Bishkek, Apr. 1, 2019. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, on March 31, a traditional cycle race was held on the bypass road in Bishkek (Kantsky svetofor) with an individual start for 25 km for all professionals and lovers of an active lifestyle. It is reported by Nomad Sport Foundation for the Development of Mass Sports.

Individual race with an individual start is a type of sport cycling competitions, where participants start by turns and ride apart for the entire distance, trying to pass the distance in the shortest possible time.

The individual start is carried out 9 times and this year 150 athletes from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in it.

Deputy of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastan Bekeshev also took part in the race on a tandem bicycle.
