More than 16 thsd Kyrgyz medics received training to fight COVID-19

Bishkek, July 8, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, distance and field training courses on prevention, treatment, diagnosis, safety measures and infection control in COVID-19 are conducted for health workers, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 reported.

Thus, on the basis of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute of Retraining and Professional Development named after Daniyarov, 16 thousand 422 specialists have been trained from Feb. 5 to July 6, 2020.

Also, 326 specialists from laboratory units of health care organizations have received training in rapid testing on COVID-19, PCR research, preanalytics.
