Bishkek, May 27, 2019. / Kabar /. Since the beginning of 2019, an increase in the incidence of vaccine-preventable infections has been observed in Kyrgyzstan.
The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance reported that, the incidence of measles increased by 17 times, 2,066 cases were registered against 119 cases in 2018.
In addition, the incidence of whooping cough increased by 1.4 times: 116 cases were registered against 83 cases in 2018; Mumps incidence is 5.1 times: 488 cases were registered against 93 cases in 2018.
