More than 200 delegates from different countries to gather in Kyrgyzstan at Global Education Forum

Bishkek, May 6, 2024. /Kabar/. In June, the Global Forum will be held in Kyrgyzstan as part of the Schools2030 program.

Every year, the Aga Khan Foundation's Schools2030 education program invites more than 200 delegates from more than 30 countries to participate in important discussions on improving educational conditions, organizers say. This year, the global forum is organized jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, and is also dedicated to the centenary of the education system in Kyrgyzstan.

This year's forum theme is critical to climate and education: "Teacher Leadership for Climate Resilience: How to Transform Learning through Schools and Systems Pathways for the Future of the Planet."

Participants will share best practices, examine complex issues, and strive to address the most pressing issue of today - the future of our planet.

This year, 70 schools and 30 kindergartens in Kyrgyzstan have developed educational innovations on climate change issues as part of the Schools2030 program.

Each educational organization has developed its own distinctive project, and they have recently received various equipment to implement these innovations.

Schools2030 is a global program working with 1,000 educational organizations in ten countries. The program helps to identify and disseminate best practices and solutions in developing children's knowledge and skills that support the development of society.
