More than 3 thousand inhabitants of Chon-Alai region placed in tents

Bishkek, May 11 / Kabar /. 3 thousand 140 local residents in Chon-Alai region of Osh oblast are placed in tents allocated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, head of the department for Osh oblast of the Emergencies Ministry Daiyrbek Karimov told.

According to his data, the Ministry of Emergency Situations allocated and distributed 550 units of tents.

The Civil Protection Commission of Chon-Alai rayon has surveyed 1 thousand 22 residential houses, 537 of which are in an emergency state (4 category), and 8 houses are collapsed (category 5).

Several earthquakes on May 3-9 damaged hundeds of houses in villages of southern Kyrgyzstan.
