Bishkek, Mar. 5, 2019. /Kabar/. 4,245 lawyers are registered in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Dzhamankulov told at a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.
He said that of them 2 thousand 472 lawyers are members of the bar institute, where the membership fee is paid annually and the issues of its activities are independently regulated.
“The remaining 1 thousand 530 lawyers are not in the bar. 438 licenses for lawyer activity are suspended and 63 lawyers are deprived of the right to the activity. At the same time, 2 licenses were revoked and 77 licenses lost their validity,” Dzhamankulov said.
